YVES ROCHER TRIMARAN

Yves Rocher TRIMARAN has been a truly rare bird to find but I managed to succeed twice as I also found the 2008 re-edition version of it and am now happily owning both. For many of you who don’t know Yves Rocher classics, TRIMARAN was one of the most sexiest men fragrances created by the brand and they have had huge success with this one. Extending sales to aftershave, showergels, soaps and bunch of others tasty smelly self-care items. Of course now all perished in time, but few gems are findable on marketplaces, ecpecially eBay.

So what does it smell like? Green citruses in the opening, mixed with herbateous bitter-greens from cypress mid and beautiful hay-like vetiver drydown. The 1986 original opens with a vibrant citrus medley— lemon, grapefruit, bergamot, ; immediately transporting you to sun-drenched Mediterranean shores. Masculine and zesty start is bound to put a smile on everyone’s face.

The heart of Yves Rocher TRIMARAN, adds cooling green facet to the citruses,  like a touch of intrigue. Greenness grows louder and reaches its peak when you can clearly smell cypress and salt, when closing your eye. As it settles, the base of Java non-peanutty vetiver  provides a smooth, woody finish that lingers gently on the skin.

It is mellow and familiar scent if you’ve been at the coasts of Amalfi. And quality of the blend is there alright too. If let’s say Louis Vuitton would put it out to the market now, people would not even know. As the old legend of Yves Rocher TRIMARAN is shamelessly forgotten.
