MY THOUGHTS

THAMEEN Royal Sapphire comes in extrait de parfum concentration, which means this juice will last on you forever, and ever. And then some, we’re talking serious staying power here. Before I even get into the scent itself, I have to mention that I’m absolutely dreaming of getting my hands some day on one of the limited edition bottles made of red glass. It’s just too pretty for words and elevates the whole experience of owning this fragrance.

The opening of THAMEEN Royal Sapphire is glorious, launching with a beautiful bergamot and jasmine accord that immediately captures your attention. This slowly transforms into the most luscious, natural orange blossom accord that feels incredibly fluffy, floral luxurious and true to life. There’s mandarin listed in the top notes, and while it’s faintly present in those initial moments, it disappears quite quickly. Honestly, I don’t mind at all because for me, this fragrance is all about the amber and orange blossom partnership.

This is a true white floral experience, but it’s executed with such restraint and sophistication that it never becomes overwhelming or headache-inducing. It remains calm, intact, and carries that refined British charm that Thameen does so beautifully. Longevity is absolutely exceptional. We’re talking beyond twelve hours on skin, even in heat, and even longer if you get it on your clothes. The amber drydown is very soothing and comforting, but it still maintains a dominant floral presence that makes this a genuinely seductive scent.

While this fragrance is technically unisex, I personally prefer it on women, though men could absolutely wear it as well, especially if layered with Thameen’s Amber Room for a more lustrous, opulent finish. To be completely honest, all Thameen fragrances are beautifully executed across their entire range. If you’re looking for good quality, wearable, timeless fragrances that won’t feel dated in five years, this is absolutely the brand to reach for.

The closest scent profile to THAMEEN Royal Sapphire is Elie Saab’s In White release. However, THAMEEN here is using way more superior orange blossom and overal composition is more thoughtful. That distinctive British elegance sets them apart.
