VOYAGER LUMINIQUE EAU DE PARFUM
OFFICIAL BRAND STATEMENT
LUMINIQUE is inspired by moments spent sipping cocktails at a poolside bar, surrounded by a joyful atmosphere with friends and a sense of relaxation. The backdrop of sunlight reflecting off the surface of the pool creates a beautiful scene, evoking the feeling of stepping into a world filled with shimmering light and laughter. The LUMINIQUE fragrance was created to capture these memories and sensations through its fresh and enchanting scent.
LUMINIQUE opens with the refreshing and distinctive scent of sweet lychee, combined with the cool aroma of soju and the invigorating scent of Aquozone, giving the impression of standing by a sunlit pool. Then, the sweet and refreshing scent of melon becomes more prominent, offering a bright and juicy feeling, complemented by the soft fragrance of magnolia. The base is composed of musk, which provides a soft and warm sensation, blended with ambroxan to add a touch of luxury and lasting charm, making this fragrance long-lasting and memorable.

MY THOUGHTS
Voyager Luminique was a genuine discovery for me at Esxence this year, one of those fragrances that immediately stops you in your tracks and demands attention. The opening is remarkably difficult to describe in conventional perfume terminology. It is what I can only characterize as quintessentially pink, though not in any of the expected ways. This isn’t bubblegum pink, it’s not cotton candy, it’s neither gourmand nor overtly floral in the traditional sense. I can identify magnolia blended with musks, but beyond that, the opening remains somewhat elusive even after three weeks of wearing and analyzing it.
Of course, it is possible I’m noseblind to certain components in Luminique, but regardless, the effect is stunning and unlike anything else I’ve encountered recently. Nutt Wesshasartar, whom many will recognize from his work with Siam 1928, has clearly invested significant effort into the entire Voyager collection, and it exceeded all my expectations during our meeting in Milan.
The quality and creativity on display were impressive enough that I purchased this bottle on the last day of the show and added two more from the line to my wishlist. In the mid-development, Luminique shifts as the pink quality recedes and lychee becomes more prominent, supported by warm skin musks that add intimacy to the composition.
The pyramid lists watermelon, which was actually my first impression when blind-testing, though this isn’t the typical calone-driven aquatic watermelon we’ve come to expect in mainstream releases. Nutt has managed to recreate watermelon in a much more subtle, pastel manner—it retains the aquatic character but feels refined and softened rather than loud or artificial.
The overall effect is a compelling combination that I’ve been reaching for consistently this summer. I’m hoping the collection becomes available through European retailers soon, though for now Luckyscent remains the primary source. I’ve been particularly eyeing Star Trails, which reportedly delivers an exceptional cola accord that outperforms Roja’s Enigma in terms of authenticity and execution. VOYAG3R has clearly positioned itself as a brand worth watching, and Luminique stands as an excellent introduction to Wesshasartar’s work outside of the Siam 1928 universe.
